Abstract Expressionism

The Abstract Expressionism movement was the first American art movement to achieve global recognition. The particular time period in which the Abstract Expressionism art movement emerged is important to understand because of the influence it had on artists in American society. The Abstract Expressionists were able to express their feelings about the world through non representational art.

Really good article, Spencer. It has a lot of information, but the layout and navigation make it easy to get through and understand. I especially liked how you tied it into historical feelings and American culture post-WWII.
