Coat & Color: Coat is smooth and can come in any color or color combination, except merle.
Personality Traits: Confident, fun-loving and have a strong zest for life.
With Kids: APBTs are friendly with kids. Supervision is always suggested with any breed for younger children.
With Other Pets: They are often act aggressice towards other dogs, especially those of the same sex.
Energy Level: High
Exercise Needs: Daily exercise is very important.
Grooming Needs: Regular brushing, and overall low maintainance.
Training Needs: APBTs enjoy obedience training and learning new things. Because of their high energy, these dogs need to be kept busy to keep out of trouble.
Living Environment: This dog gets along well with a dog-experienced individual or family. They can thrive in a city, country or suburban setting.
